I am a published author as well as a mentor for Network Marketers. I am also working on subsequent books that should be released some time this year.
I have been in Network Marketing since 1977. As most people in Network Marketing experience, we have seen successes and failures. Therefore, I know what works and what does not!
It is important for you to know that I built a multi-level marketing business that grew quickly. In a little over three months we had a thriving and expanding business. It was great, and we were excited about the future. Then the business began to flounder because it was not built naturally (meaning we skipped some rungs on the ladder to success). It took only one month to lose all we had gained in three months’ time. I tell you this because you need to understand the “nature of the beast” when you become an entrepreneur in Network Marketing.
The business came crashing down around our ears in record speed, and there was nothing we could do to stop it. I was angry! Of course, I blamed everyone except those who actually had the responsibility to build it correctly in the first place—my husband and I. We had skipped some of the essential steps in building the foundation. The result was a business that could not withstand the weight of growth when a slight breeze came through with our first life storm –a storm that tested character.
Obviously I know how to build a strong foundation now, because of the mistakes we made, and I understand how to succeed in both life and business. I also know that being successful in life is vital for a person to feel happy and secure and for joy and contentment to reside in the soul.
